This is a beautiful large handmade lampshade made in my South Derbyshire studio using eight Morris & Co fabrics based on wallpapers and fabric designs used in the London home of Emery Walker, a prominent Arts and Crafts figure and friend of William Morris.
The shade is 18" diameter at the base.
The lampshade is constructed using traditional stretching and sewing techniques with the fabric handsewn to the UK made vintage style frame and fully balloon lined in ivory silky fabric.
The lampshade is hand-finished with quality trimmings (which may vary from shown) to pick out the colours of the design.
The lampshade fabrics are treated with a flame proof solution. A low energy lightbulb is advised to ensure longevity.
A shade holder is included with your lampshade, please advise if you’d prefer a ceiling adapter.
The lamp base shown is not included.
